About the roll
Are you detail-oriented, structured, and passionate about improving financial processes? Do you want to work in an international team with colleagues in Sweden, the UK, Germany, and Australia? We are now looking for a dedicated Financial Accountant to join our team, focusing on accounts payable and monthly closings – with SAP as the primary tool.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle supplier invoices for operations in Sweden and Germany
Actively participate in monthly closings, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting
Work in and contribute to the development of the financial system SAP
Take full responsibility for the end-to-end accounts payable process across multiple entities
Manage the onboarding of new suppliers and maintain supplier accounts
Ensure invoices are accurately allocated to projects and departments in line with approved budgets
Perform supplier reconciliations and manage invoice queries in the accounts payable inbox
Prepare payment files and reports for review
Work with purchase requests and purchase orders
Handle VAT reporting, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations
Support the preparation of monthly management reports, including posting accruals and journal entries
Assist with half-year and year-end closings, as well as external audits
Contribute to the improvement and automation of financial processes


We are looking for someone who has:
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in accounting
Solid experience working with SAP
Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with strong attention to detail
Relevant post-secondary education in finance/accounting
Fluent in Swedish and English

The Role
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of projects, from planning and design to completion. You’ll work closely with Engineering and Procurement and Construction Management Consultants to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards and specifications.
You will be a core member of Talga’s project development team.


You will:
Leading projects and cross-functional project internal and external team members
Manage engineers and contractors and ensure proper coordination across disciplines
Responsible for the overall planning, design and execution of projects
Ensure that the projects are performing according to time, cost and quality standards
Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization and interaction with external and internal stakeholders



The role is based in Luleå. Traveling is needed to build up new production sites in Europe in the future. With the Vittangi Anode Project, travel to Vittangi on a regular basis are needed throughout the project and commissioning.

To succeed in the role, you must have:
At least 10-15 years of experience in project management in the process industry, preferable in Mineral / Chemical or Battery industry, with demonstratable previous experience as Project Manager on large projects either on the client or consultant side of the industry. Whilst experience from the Swedish/European process industry, permit and regulation is beneficial, it is not essential.
You have a degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
It’s important that you have inspiring leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide people, the capability to make decisions and the ability to resolve complex problems. You have a high level of safety and quality awareness.
It’s required that you have high communication skills in English since you will be working in an international environment. Swedish language skills would be beneficial, but not essential.

To be successful in the role you must have:
At least 5 years of industrial experience after completion of your education (Master degree) in equivalent role in electrochemistry laboratory for a lithium-ion cell company.
Experience in people management is preferred
Have experience in project management and managing collaborative projects.
Have practical experience with galvanostatic charge/discharge cycler, cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy.
Have practical experience and good skills in laboratory electrode and coin/pouch cell fabrication.
Good understanding on electrochemistry and lithium-ion batteries.
Strong computer literacy skills with knowledge of MS applications.

In this laboratory-based role it is to develop the QC/QA methods and perform the QC analysis for the pioneering battery anode industry in Europe toward their standardization.
You will:
Perform the daily based sample analysis with various techniques such as: BET, PSD, density Analyzer.
Interpret and report analytical results, identify and highlight any anomalies.
Develop and report quality control metrics.
Implement SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for quality accredited laboratory (i.e. ISO 9001/ISO17025).
Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (i.e ISO9001, IATF16949)
Communicate with external partner, clients, University and Institutes for supplementary analysis and standardization in Europe.
Support with design and commissioning of new labs.

Rollen

Rollen
Som Process Ingenjör på EVA-anodpilotanläggning kommer du att stötta forskningen inriktad på produktkvalitet och produktivitet. Arbeta med produktionspersonal i frågor om utbildning, driftsinstruktioner och förfaranden. Genomföra utredningar och projekt till stöd för intressenter inom Talgas forsknings- och utvecklingsgrupper samt utvärdera processdata och utföra undersökningar.
Du ska:
· Skriva testplaner, genomföra riskanalyser samt leverera slutrapporter för utförda utredningar och projekt
· Se till att SOP:er är uppdaterade enligt förändringar i metoder och produktion
· Uppnå förståelse i de processer och den teknik som används.
· Stödja produktionen med problemlösning och utvärdering av data

At least 5 years of industrial experience after completion of your education (Master or PHD degree) in equivalent role in QC laboratory preferably in powder characterization.
Have practical experience with Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), Particle Size Analyzer, Tap Density, Bulk Density, Rheometer, Viscosimeter
General understanding on electrochemistry.
Strong computer literacy skills with knowledge of MS applications

The opportunity
Is to contribute to the development of next generation battery materials development.
You will:
Manage the Electrochemistry laboratory in Sweden for battery material characterization.
Preparing documentations and set up the laboratory facilities.
Implementing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for quality accredited laboratory (i.e. ISO 9001/ISO17025).
Performing the daily based lithium-ion cell manufacturing and electrochemical testing.
Produce high quality scientific reports.
Communicate with external partner, clients, Universities, and Institutes for analysis in Europe.
Present at public conferences and publish scientific papers.
Analyse battery samples from various sources.
Use electrochemical techniques, such as galvanostatic charge/discharge cycler, cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy.
Interpret data and meet strict guidelines on documentation when recording data.
Produce reports with scientific results.
Advises on product development.
Produce technical documentation for Lab accreditation.
Work collaboratively in cross and multi-culture functional teams.
Liaise with customers, staffs and suppliers.
Be aware of, and keep up to date with, health and safety issues.
Validate methods and equipment.
Working with universities and European consortia for the industry battery development.


To be successful in the role you must have:
